What is Syft Assist AI
Syft Assist AI is more than an AI chatbot. Using the most sophisticated AI language models, it instantly provides detailed insights into any report or visualization with accurate, conversational answers.
You can start using Syft Assist AI by clicking the AI button at the top of any report or visualization for any entity.
Once you prompt Syft Assist AI (by selecting one of the options above), you'll receive a response via a text box pop-up or an export. You can copy this text and use it in an email or report. Alternatively, you can convert the response to voice to receive an audio output of the insights.

How to use Syft Assist AI
With our Syft Assist AI tool, you can automate repetitive tasks, process large volumes of data instantly, and retrieve summaries of patterns and anomalies detected in your data. This enables you to use your time to analyze why these patterns and anomalies are occurring instead of completing mundane tasks.
Here's how:
Generate insights: When you click "Generate insights", you receive a comprehensive analysis highlighting key patterns, significant changes and anomalies in the financial performance and operational metrics of the business; as well as a summary of what the report is showing.
Create summary for an email: When you click "Create summary for an email", you receive a ready-to-send email summarizing key financial observations and performance highlights for the specified period, formatted professionally to communicate effectively with the client.
Suggest ways to improve: When you click "Suggest ways to improve", Syft Assist AI will analyze the report that you are looking at and generate ways in which you can improve the financial metrics shown in the report, with industry context.
Explain this feature: When you click "Explain this feature", you receive a detailed explanation of the report's content, highlighting its utility in tracking trends, evaluating performance, and providing insights. This response explains how you can use the report for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Narrate summary insights: When you click "Narrate summary insights", your insights, significant changes and key patterns will play back to you as an audio narration. You can also copy the transcript of the narration!
Ask a question: When you click "Ask a question", you can verbally ask Syft Assist AI a question and it will give you an answer relating to the report in question.
PDF + AI: When you click "PDF + AI", a pdf will download to your computer which will include the report and the insights that you receive when you click "Generate Insights" below the report.
Word + AI: When you click "Word + AI", a Word document will download to your computer which will include the report and the insights that you receive when you click "Generate Insights" below the report.
Settings: When you click "Settings", you will be able to select one of six eloquent voice that you would like narrating your insights, and you will be able to select a language of your choice from a range of 56 languages.

In Dashboards, you can also access AI insights within individual cards by clicking on the AI button at the bottom in the middle of each card.
Relationship with LLM providers
Syft utilizes various third parties for LLM capabilities (LLM providers). We follow the following principles when sharing data with LLM providers:
Limit data: Syft limits the data provided to LLM providers to what is strictly necessary to provide the service.
Anonymized and non-identifiable: We do not provide any identifiable information to LLM providers that relate to the entity, its customers and suppliers, or you. Data sent to LLM providers is first processed through an internal intermediary layer that removes identifiable information and creates a mapping between what we send to the LLM providers and your data. On receiving a response from the LLM provider, outputs are mapped back in this layer before being shown to you.
Do not train: Any data submitted to the LLM provider is only used to generate an output; none of the data submitted is used to improve or train any LLM model.

To help identify abuse, LLM providers may retain data for a specific period, after which it will be deleted (unless otherwise required by law). Syft does not verify the output or accuracy of Syft Assist AI, and we make no warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of it.
