Quick start
Visualize your organization's customer, product and financial health data in one place. Dashboards are fully interactive displays that show you all the financial metrics you care about in a single view.
Navigate to "Visualize" > "Overview" > "Dashboard" to land on your dashboard. To add a new dashboard click on the "+" icon and to switch between different dashboards click on the dashboard title drop down. You can change the period for which you would like to view your dashboard at the top of the page.
For Stripe entities, the "Visualize" section helps you understand your customer, product and subscription information in a meaningful way that can inform impactful data-driven decisions.
Dashboard where you land once you have connected your entity to Syft. At the top, you will notice the global date selector that enables you to alter the selected periods. Visualize all of your customer, product, cash flow, connections and other crucial metrics for your entity.
π‘ Pro tip
Click on "Options" and the projector icon to activate presentation mode when presenting your dashboard and click on "Download" to export your dashboard.
Dashboard cards
To add a card to your dashboard, click on "Add card". Within the new card pop up, you can select the entity, data category and financial metric that you would like to display on the card.
KPI Scorecards: Growth, Profitability, Liquidity, Solvency and other metrics found within your Scorecards.
Customer data: Sales, growth rates, average and median customer spend, new customers, discounts, refunds, and more.
Product data: Quantity sold, growth rates, maximum products per purchase, average and median spend per purchase, and more.
Financials: The profit and loss, balance sheet and EBITDA reports can be displayed on your dashboard as a condensed version. Additionally, you can aslo graph specific P&L or balance sheet categories. Click on "Add card" > "Financials" and then select the table view to display the report or click the donut graph view to display certain categories.
Cash: Display cash flow metrics, such as cash in or cash balance; and select certain bank accounts to plot.
Connections: Display connection data or non-financial data on your dashboard.
Images: You can include graphs, metrics, logos, maps or any other visual from sources outside of Syft in your Dashboard. To add an image to your Dashboard, navigate to "Add card" within dashboards and click on "Image" within the second dropdown selector. You can then drag and drop your image or upload it. You can upload up to three images to create a carousel that scrolls through the images. However, only your first image will show when you download the Dashboard.
Transaction List: Clearly identify the largest transactions in your most important accounts, ordered from largest to smallest. Select accounts from your P&L or Balance Sheet to generate a miniature version of the transaction list and see exactly what each account is made of.
π Note
Each graph displays a total or average for the period selected using the date selector at the top of your screen. Your default dashboard includes a P&L report, ensuring you can quickly assess your company's health whenever you log into Syft.
Drill down
Click directly on any dashboard card to dive deeper into the data displayed. For instance, when viewing a monthly graph, a simple click will take you straight to a detailed daily view. This drill-down functionality is fully interactive while viewing dashboards or embedded/shared versions.
Syft Assist AI
Syft Assist AI can be utilized for individual dashboard cards by clicking on the AI icon at the bottom of each card. A swipe-up panel will reveal tailored, intelligent insights specific to that card, giving you more targeted and valuable information at a glance.
Compare to
New enhancements are here for your dashboard! Dashboard cards now feature the ability to compare to Prior, Prior Last Year or None, depending on the selected period type. You can easily adjust this setting through the menu in the top right of each card, offering more flexibility in your comparisons.
The following cards now come with the compare-to options of "Prior Last Year" and "None":

Chart in Excel
Graph based dashboard cards have an option to "Chart in Excel" as well. This option is available for embedded dashboards too. This allows full customisation of a chart within Excel and visibility of the data that charts are plotting. Click on the 3 dots at the top right of any graph based dashboard card and then click "Chart in Excel".
After this, an excel workbook will automatically download to your device. As you open the workbook, you will see the dashboard graph as well as the data that fuels this graph plotted in a blank sheet, as shown in the image below.

Alternatively, use Syft's Spreadsheet Link on Excel to pull your entire dashboard into Excel. Get a high-level overview of the metrics that matter to your business and keep on top of your business performance with "Dashboard". You can also keep this information at your fingertips using the Syft mobile app, where you can see your dashboard as it updates in real time.

A PwC Study found that companies that inject big data and analytics into their operations tend to outperform their peers by 5% in productivity. Syft makes it easy to do just that. Being able to see your data depicted in graphs makes it easier to understand the story that data tells.
Customize
When building your dashboard, you can choose the chart type, size and the positioning of these cards.
Card format
Click on the βοΈ icon at the top right of any card and click "Format card". From the formatting pop-up you can choose the card size, type as well as graph colours that can be consistent across all graphs if you toggle on "Update to all graphs".
Dashboard layout
You can drag and drop cards until they're sitting in the correct place by clicking and holding on the three dots at the top left of a card and then moving that card around accordingly.

To resize your dashboard cards, click on the three dots on the top right of any card and click on "Card size" as shown in the image below.
π‘ Pro tip
You can export your dashboard to PDF or share it with other users in a "Live View" where they can comment on it in real-time.
You can also assign your cards handy names and descriptions at the top of the page and edit them later by clicking on the pen icon. This becomes useful if you create multiple dashboards.
π Note
If you have multiple dashboards, you may want to set one as your default dashboard, i.e. the dashboard you will automatically land on. To set a dashboard as your default, click on the little star icon next to the dashboard's name.
Animations
Turn on the "Loop animations" toggle, as shown in the image below, to have your dashboard cards be animated at all times!

Elevate your brand presence within Dashboards by incorporating your company's logo as an image; reinforcing your brand identity.
Incorporate additional graphs, charts and images that you've created on Excel or another software which resonate with your clients.
Include maps of relevant regions to provide a spatial context to your data. Whether you're visualizing sales performance across different territories or tracking the impact of a marketing campaign; maps offer a powerful way to convey information at a glance.
Incorporate educational visuals such as an explanatory graph or an infographic breaking down complex concepts. This feature is perfect for training and onboarding purposes.
